Yesterday at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario, a man and his son got kicked off their flight for watching footage of the 9-11 attacks. The two people were on a plane bound for Orlando for Tuesday night before they were kicked off. It was reported that a few passengers were concerned about their safety and that is when the airlines acted to kicked these two people off.
I think it is ridiculous that someone was concerned for their safety when someone was watching a video. It's just a video, what harm can it do? Of course we haven't forgotten the 9-11 attacks but is it still that serious that a video can concerned us about our safety? People were so concerned, everyone apparently deplaned. To these two people who were kicked off, I think that they should give an explanation why but the airlines should give them a reason to be kicked off the flight. They should also give a refund as well. What do you think of this? Did people overreact? What would you have done? Please leave your answers in the comment section.
I think we need to know why they were watching the flick & understand their intensions before reacting this severly. Because what it's saying to me is that the next time I'm reading a book that another passanger doesn't like, I might be asked to leave.
